My name is Shelley Marks-Kramer and I have been successfully self-employed, starting and running several of my own businesses for more more than 3/4 of my life. I am constantly appreciative of learning new health modalities, alternative wellness techniques, organic growing and eating, and hold several college degrees. I have had many years of hands on experience and certifications in nutritional and beauty consulting and memberships in many health and wellness organizations and associations. I have been researching why there is so much cancer in our world for the past 38 years, ever since my Mom died of cancer at age 56 too young, in 1982, after working for Revlon Cosmetics for 20 years as a beauty consultant across the US. in all the major department stores. She was "Miss Shirley Marks, Beauty Consultant from the House of Revlon."
I have had many actinic keratosis cancers removed from my face, chest, back, arms since my late teens. I had basal a cell tumor from 1/4" of my lip, in 1985, where my lip had to be tattooed back in. Then in 1998 another deep and large 5 cm basal cell tumor removed from my lower right eyelid (deep inside). The doctor removed 75% of my lower eyelid, and had to rebuild the eyelid with 30 stitches from skin pulled from the side of my face (where I had no wrinkles). In 1999 I had another tumor removed from under my left eye. In 2000 a squamous cell tumor was biopsied on the right side of my nose. Another squamous cell removed from my right thigh. I did not have surgery, and I used alternative choices such as apple cider vinegar, oregano oil, tea tree oil and continue to use these to remove small cancers when they appear on my skin.
I am currently active and involved as a Public Health and Cancer Prevention Educator, and Consultant in Environmental Health, Nutrition, Personal Hygiene and Beauty Care. I am the Los Angeles, CA, local office director of the Cancer Prevention Coalition. Previously I was on the District Advisory Committee for Health and Safety for the Santa Monica-Malibu School District, and worked with the CA State Dept of Health Skin Cancer Prevention Program and the Campaign for Safe Cosmetics and Environmental Working Group associations.
As Director of the Los Angeles local office of CPC we educate the public with seminars and scientific literature on information on awareness of avoidable risks of the chemicals and controversial ingredients in their everyday personal hygiene and beauty products and the Publics Right to Know what they are putting in and on their bodies and using in their homes. Everyone has the Right to Know about the safety conscious, alternative products available to you, and then will be able to make safe, logical decisions and product choices.
