  My Son, Andrew Sean Kramer
                               

Andrew was born 3 months early on January 8, 1988. He weighed only 2lbs 5 ounces, and doctors said he may never walk or walk and may be in a wheel chair. He proved them all wrong!
 
 June 2007 Andrew Graduated Malibu High School with honors and lettered in varsity Baseball , received the Andrew S. Kramer Inspirational Award and the Distinguished Student Award.
 
September 2007 he attended the new UCLA Pathways Program for students with disabilities, attended sporting events and attended classes for different skills. It was a great experience at UCLA. for all of us. He learned how to cook, clean, shop, bank, advocate, socializing and live with others, conflict resolution and how to go on job interviews, work with co workers at a job.


 June, 2009 After 2 years in attendance He Graduated from the UCLA Pathways Program as valedictorian of his class.

In 2009 Andrew was interviewed on NBC News as Valedictoriun of the 2007-2009 first graduating class from the Pathway “Pioneers” 2 year certification Program from UCLA Extension

 2009-  He received an Award for: “Outstanding Nontraditional Student Award" by the University Continuing Education Association (UCEA)--Region West  held in Santa Fe, New Mexico)
and then he received another award  in

2009,  He received another Award for : The Outstanding Nontraditional Student Award by the National Regional of UCEA,  held in San Francisco, CA

June 2017, Andrew graduated SMCC college with a 3.8 GPA, an Honor Roll Student, AA Degree in Business and Leadership
     

Andrew has won 3 Gold and 3 Silver Medals and one bronze medal in his Special Olympic Tennis Tournaments 2016-2017-2018, 2019
 
He is now an Ambassador for Best Buddies, and has been working at ICM (International Creative Management) for a year now because of help from Best Buddies. He lives in his own apartment and drives my old car (2002) and both are in good shape.
He has been furloughed from his job since March, 2020. He will go back to his job as  an office worker when the company reopens.
